We spent a couple days on South Padre Island visiting with my sister Sharon and her family. It was a quick trip but we managed to fit in a couple of meals out, go-cart racing (watch out for Sharon – she is hell on wheels!), fireworks, football games and a sing-along with Kurt on the guitar. Oh, and let’s not forget we took the Jeep out on the beech for our first official off-road excursion. It was an action-packed start to 2020. Thanks for the fun Sharon and all!
We parked the motorcoach at the KOA on South Padre and had a great view of the causeway and fireworks over the bay. The park was packed to capacity.
