We’re on the road in the Big Rig traveling with our dogs. There are loads of people out camping and hiking and we are being safe.
We took five days to travel to Polson, Montana with three stops along the way.
In Manistique, MI we stayed at the Manistique Lakeshore Campground with a great site right on the lake. The images below were taken from our site. I was happy with the Milky Way shot with three comets, courtesy Perseids Meteor Shower 2020.
While in Manistique we visited Pictured Rocks and tasted some Pasty hand pies, of course.
Next we stayed at the Country Campground in Detroit Lakes, MN. The park was quiet, well outfitted for kids with swing sets and lawn games, and people were so friendly. It was a quick stop but I managed to get another Milky Way photo.
Finally, after about five days, we made it to Polson. We’re hiking and taking in the big sky.
