We traveled to Lake Tahoe with a couple days at the beginning in California’s wine region.

Brian happily visited a couple wineries and experienced personalized tastings, so fun for him. This time of year is a bit cool and vineyards are not so busy, a welcome bonus. I stayed in Calistoga and indulged at the spa while Brian sipped wines.

We were lucky to manipulate our travel plans to beat a winter storm to Lake Tahoe and arrived prior to the 4-10 foot snowfall in the region. Bryan and Steph were waiting for this first BIG snowfall and were not disappointed. Not one bit of disappointment there.

Brian skied Heavenly, just a few minutes drive from Steph and Bryan’s place.

We spent time exploring South Lake Tahoe and surrounding towns including Truckee and Sand Harbor.

We so enjoyed exploring Lake Tahoe and spending time with Bryan, Steph and Ginny who are thriving in their new home.
