We spent a week at the Lazydays KOA Resort in Tucson and had a fine time. The resort is a great place for RVs with upwards of 350 sites including casitas and tent spots. There are spots with pet yards, firepits and elevated decks for sunset viewing. There are daily activities and the camp backs up to the Lazydays RV Sales and Service center. We loved the many citrus and olive trees. We picked olives-not yet ripe, oranges, grapefruit, and lemons for lemonade. Yum.
Brian played golf at Dove Mountain and Ventana Canyon and enjoyed them both. He had an incident with a cholla cactus at Dove mountain and let’s just say you should not underestimate the cholla.

We enjoyed the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the Saguaro( suh·waa·row) National Park.

The saguaro cactus were abundant in and around Tucson.
We toured the Biosphere 2 research facility and found it pretty interesting.

While driving up to Dove Mountain, we took a golf shot in the rear driver’s side window. Thankfully, no one was hurt and it was easily repaired. Many thanks to the firemen at Northwest Station 37 who helped us clean up and cardboard the window.
That’s a wrap from Tucson,
